How should I get there?

Santa Rosa Beach is about 4 hours from New Orleans, 6 hours from Lafayette, 5 hours from Atlanta, driving. If you prefer to fly, it’s about 45 minutes from both VPS (Destin-Ft. Walton) and ECP (Panama City Beach) airports.

Where Should I Stay?

We suggest staying on the West side of 30a in Santa Rosa Beach. Blue Mountain Beach would be the next closest to the venue. Grayton Beach is another great option. It has a funky beach town vibe. Watercolor, Seaside and Miramar are other great options to consider.

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can celebrate and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time!

What is the dress code?

Beach Semi Formal: think linen or light suit for men and cocktail dresses for women. Feel free to dress funky and wear some tropical colors.

Will the wedding be on the beach?

Weather dependent, we will be having our ceremony on the beach. There is a large stairwell leading down to the beach, please plan accordingly. Dinner will be served inside and the band will be playing on the terrace overlooking the beach.

What is the weather like in March on the beach?

It may have a slight chill in the air or carry some slight heat. Either way, it should be a pleasant temperature! Average range is 52-71 F.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that no phones, ipads, cameras, etc. be used during our ceremony. We promise to share the professional photos from our photographer!

Feel free to break out those phones after we’re official! And we kindly ask that you use our hashtag (#LivingLaVidaLeRouge) when posting pictures, so we can relive these precious moments!
